COVID-19 Statement

To all of our wonderful WFAH humans and four legged furry friends.

We have decided to update our policy on COVID19, per the AVMA guidelines.

Our top priority is to keep you and our staff safe, while remaining your pet's source of medical care!

  1. . Please call the office upon arrival. Clients will remain in their vehicles or outside the building at all times. One exception to this "no owners in the hospital rule" is that owners will be allowed to be with their pet during euthanasia and home euthanasia can still be performed but will require individual planning between the owner and doctor.

  2. A team member will greet you wearing a mask, gown and gloves, with a hospital leash. Cats must stay in their carriers.

  3. Patient history and concerns will be taken over the phone or curbside.

  4. The doctor will discuss exam findings and recommendations with you over the phone.

  5. Payment will be collected over the phone or curbside.

  6. We will bring medications, supplies or food out to your car.

At this time, we are NOT limiting any ability to have your pet seen. Wellness exams and vaccinations appointments will continue, but please consider your safety in all of this too. For example- puppy and kitten vaccinations are extremely timely and important in keeping them healthy, while a visit for a nail trim may not be essential at this time.

We thank you for understanding! These changes are unprecedented and we are all navigating this together. Please call us 410.489.9410 or email wfah02@yahoo.com if you have any questions at all.

Sincerely,
All the Doctors and Staff of West Friendship Animal Hospital
